Getting There

	By Air Geneva - transfer time aprox 1 hour Lyon - transfer time aprox 2 hours Chambery - transfer time aprox 1 and three quarter hours		By Train TGV to Sallandres and then 8km taxi to Combloux

	By Car To get driving directions to the resort go to either the AA Website or the Michelin Route Planner website www.viamichelin.com or www.theaa.com		Looking for an airport transfer at a good rate? www.skitransfers.com offer an excellent service. English-speaking drivers greet you at the airport and then drive you to the resort. Their vehicles range in size up to a 19 seater minibus. Child seats also available.

About The Resort..

Combloux is only 4 km from glitzy Megeve but is a lot cheaper whilst also looking over the stunning Mont Blanc. Chamonix is a further 30km away. Parking is free and there are 2 large car parks at the base of the station

About The Mountain

Free shuttle bus from the village to the base station Combloux/Le Jaillet at 1580m. Besides the low altitude and lack of snow at times there is a big problem with the speed of the lifts. Slow, slow and even slower! The only plus here is that they don't seem to have any queues.

Advanced
Very few runs above 2000m having said that on powder days you will have a ball. Fresh tracks can be made made many days after on a good fall of snow. We recommend heading over to the Mont Joux and Jolly areas

For Intermediates
Lots of choice and a great area for the slightly less confident. Lots of mileage to be done hare even if hte lifts are not as fast as they could be.

For Beginners
Good choice of nursery slopes with lots of greens to progress to
Snowparks
3 to choose from in the area and one close by

Cross Country
Two loops with 7km of trails facing Combloux towards Mont Blanc. Megeve has a massive 75km of trails and is only 4km away

There are seven restaurants to choose form on the mountain and a further nine at the bottom, whilst there is a massive choice of thrity eitght in the combined area. Lots of variety in choice and price. Do take a look at the information on the Megeve page
