The Eden
T: 0041 (0)81 378 100 www.edenarosa.ch - for those with money The Eden is probably the best in town. In the basement is both a nightclub called the Kitchen Club based on the fact that it was originally a kitchen and still houses the sinks where drinks are served from and stoves to dance on. Next door to this is the Sauna, spa and exercise room, the Jungle Jim. The bedrooms range from the bizarre (trees growing up through) to classic nouveau. For those who like fur try the Tiger Lily Room! - check it out at www.designhotels.com
The 5 star Tschuggen Grand Hotel

| About The Mountain |
|
 |
|
|
There are two main sectors the Weisshorn and Hornli which merge in wide open bowl with all runs returning to the village at the bottom. There is little problem with queuing.
Snowboarding - The world snowboard championships are held here so one would imagine that snowboarders amongst us are welcome. Kinky DJ's belt out music from the Sithutte bar which is located atop of the park. The other main incentive is the massive new super half pipe for freestylers to visit Arosa.
Advanced Skiers - The adventurous should have a guide and ski the offpiste from Arosa to Leizerheide.
Intermediates - OK so it's not great for high mileage but is enjoyable none-the-less the Weisshorn has the steeper runs but can suffer from poor snow conditions due to the sun
Beginners - The easy slopes up at Tschuggen are good fun with reliable snow
Cross Country - Arosa although small (16 Miles) has some of the most beautiful and varied runs in the Alps |
