| About The Resort.. |
The resort is on the Swiss /Austrian border and has a compact pedestrianised centre. Glamourous hotels abound with good apres ski. The best place to stay is close to the SilvreHabahn lift in the centre of town. A real plus is that there is a moving walkway from town to the other two lifts. The Pardatschgratbahn and Fimbabahn with money recently spent here is is fast becoming one of the top resorts in Austria and we at Snowbrainer highly recommend it. |

Where to eat? Go to the Trofona Royal and try the gourmet restaurant Paznauner Stube. Expensively nice. For pizza we like the wood fired Salz and Pfeffer T: 0043 544 591 956. Indochine T: 05444 529 357 is recommended for when you get bored of everything else. |

Apres ski in Ischgl is very lively and fun. Try it! Pacha of Ibiza fame is here as well, although not as good as the real thing it's still well worth a visit. |

There's lots of choice in Ischgl - if you have the big bucks head to Trotana Royal T: 0043 5444 600 w. www.trofana.at You will like it with over 20 styles of room to choose from. Our other favourites include the
Madlein T: 0043 5444 5226 w. www.madlein.com with its lovely pool and fire room making this a hip place. to be perfectly honest there are too many hotels in Ischgl to list here, but believe us there are lots to choose from For the budget travelers amongst us try the 2 star Dorfschmeide T: 0043 5444 5769 which has frindly service and a great location |

| About The Mountain |
Snowbrainer people come here for the guaranteed snow. Very good for intermediates and experts but perhaps if you are a beginner there are better resorts to choose.
Snowboarders - one of the biggest and best snowparks is the claim and it did hold the first world championship for snowboarders. The park features are endless and include a 1/4 pipe, 1/2 pipe (the tube) , rails, and kickers of all sizes. A big fun box, a boarder/skier cross course, a giant sslalom, waves rides plus more than I can list. Yes we love it.
Skiers - Lots of terrain with the added bonus of duty free. Yest that's right, take the rucksack and fill up over the border in Samnaun in Switzerland. Ok sadly it's not all good news, because the queues can be quite heavy at times when trying to get up the mountain
Cross Country - 48km of Tracks to choose from will keep you busy. |

| Often crowded but decent quality are the bywords here. Two that please us at Snowbrainer were the Paznauner Thaya (which also does great apres ski) and Bodenalpe over in Switzerland try the Alp Trida Sattel. |
