| Auffach is 7km away from Niederau and is a smaller, quieter village. It is part of the Wildschonau Valley and actually boasts the highest slopes up to 1900m. Please refer to Niederau and Oberau |

It has a little more snow reliability than Niederau and has lots of short red runs. There is a good long piste from the top to the village home. Auffach is part of the Wildschonau Ski Area with access to 65,m of sking on 47 pistes served by 26 lifts. The lift pass allows you to ski at Nierderau, Oberau and Thierban
